    Learning how to market and promote products and services is one of the most powerful things to know about. When you can move prospects along the sales pipeline (psychologically) closer and closer to making the purchase, you almost don't need a "sales person" to make the close of the sale. The Fruit will fall of the vine.

    Plant the Seed, Nurture the Plant, Harvest the Fruit.

    Emotion. Believe it or not, marketing messages work best when they highlight what consumers get "emotionally" from a product or service rather than a bullet list of features. 

    Your Flaws and Imperfection. You will build more consumer trust, when you talk about your product imperfections rather than hide them. 

    Your Competition. Posture how consumers perceive your competition. Without bash them, you can how your product fills a different, and perhaps higher need. You competition is not bad, but your product is different and unique in your customer’s life, making your offer the obvious and only choice. 

    Promote Exclusivity. Communicate to the ego of your prospects by making them feel special if they were to invest your product. 

    Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. Emphasize what might happen in the life of your prospects if they do not take action and invest. Fear of loss or FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is a powerful psychological tactic that can motivate people to buy. When you can communicate how doing so helps them avoid (emotional) pain.

    This may seem manipulative, but if it is done with a sincere interest of helping the prospect to enhance their lifestyle, it is an honorable manipulation.

    Video Marketing is becoming a very popular and effective way to promote a business. With video, you can show your face and be more transparent (well not literally "transparent", but you know what I mean) You will be perceived as more authentic and sincere in your marketing.

    The use of Green Screen Technology has become very popular also. The use of a green screen and the proper software can make you appear in a plethora of different scenarios.

    I caution you however, don't try to fake it till ya make it" by deceiving your viewers with a background of a mansion, or an exotic 5 star hotel in the back ground. You will ruin any credibility or trust of you attempt to be something or somewhere you are not.

    A simple Combination Lock is EASY to open, when you know the combination. When you don't know the combination, it's essentially IMPOSSIBLE.

    I believe the more gears you add to the machine, the more problems will result as you attempt to progress towards your goals. With access to a plethora of technology today, we easily get overwhelmed with the multitude of tools and techniques. This can make success a challenge.

    It’s impossible to open a simple Combination Lock, without knowing the basic 3-digit combination. But when you know the numbers and sequence it is EASY to open the lock.

    1. The first is Lead Generation.
    2. The second is Relationship Building.
    3. The third is Selling and Closing.
    Impossible becomes possible with knowledge.   To teach this, I will use a NATURE analogy and a simple 3 phase process.  
    1. Plant the Seed LEAD GENERATION
    Sources: BING, Facebook, GoogleAds, Twitter, LinkedIn, Banner Ads, etc. Before you begin, you must be crystal clear on your desired outcome. You must know exactly what/who you are going to manifest. The “seed” must match the desired “fruit”, exactly. (An apple seed will not grow an orange tree.) Once you defined your desired goal, you need to commit and decide. The word “de-cide” is to “cut-off” all other options. (homicide, pesticide, suicide) Once you commit to your focus and vision, you should not divert from that focus. Hold the vision so the seed germinates and sprouts. The moment you divert from the vision, the energy is reduced and the probability of manifestation is lesser and lesser.


    1. Nurture the Plant RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
    Platforms: Live Video Streaming, Webinars, PodCasts, eMail Marketing, etc. For the relationship to grow from the generated lead (germinated seed) it is essential that you build and bond the relationship(s). You need to keep in contact, and hold your communication on your vision and the topic (type of fruit you are manifesting). Each prospective customer has interests that are specific to each products/services and requires specific communication that is in line.   Just as each plant is unique and one may require moist soil and less sunlight, another plant might require dry soil and more sunlight. Each product/service is unique and the communication to each prospective customer needs to be relevant, congruent and in alignment. If you divert from the focus topic (product/service) and the prospective customers desire (problem/solution) they will become confused, lose interest and begin to fade away.


    1. Harvest the Fruit SELLING and CLOSING
    Trainers: David Kirkeby, Tom Hopkins, Cesar Rodriguez, Michael Oliver, etc. Now that you have sufficiently selected and captured your leads (seeds) and the concept of your product or service fulfilling their desires is in their minds, their ideas of ownership and purchasing are about to germinate and sprout. You’ve been in constant and congruent communication with these prospects (plants), via email and social media etc. They are getting ready to purchase and you will manifest some SALES (fruits). Don’t try to pick the fruit before it is ripe and ready. When the fruit is RIPE it will literally fall off the vine. Sales is a process. When you have the “formula” and each element is in alignment you will get an “immediate yes” when you ask for the sale. People buy from emotion. People do not want to be “sold” however they do like to “buy” when their desire is strong enough and the solution is offered. The selling process is an art, and I personally do not profess to be a sales artist. In most all of my business ventures, I have outsourced the sales jobs to people much more qualified and capable than myself. Below I have listed the essential process, however if you really want to learn how to do the selling yourself, you will want to learn from the experts. A few names that come to mind are: David Kirkeby, Tom Hopkins, Cesar Rodriguez, Michael Oliver, etc.

    The Essence of the Selling Process
    - Welcome and Establish Rapport
    - Build and Bond the Relationship
    - Explore and Discover the Problem/Pain
    - Express and Amplify the Problem/Pain
    - Reveal and Offer the Solution
    - Ask for the Sale and Close.

    In case you aren’t sure what Periscope is, it’s a live streaming video app that was purchased by Twitter in 2015. The allure of Periscope is that it allows you to ‘Go Live’ from anywhere, at any time, while anyone in the world can watch you via your mobile device.

    There are over ten million users on the platform today, so needless to say if you’re not using it, you’re missing out on some markets that might be of use to your business. If you can conceive of any way your company can put Periscope to use, you should do so. Today.
